Summary
Real property tax exemptions for the elderly and handicapped. Raises the maximum income eligibility restriction from $62,000 to $67,000 in the Cities of Charlottesville, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Richmond, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach and the Counties of Chesterfield, Goochland, and Henrico.

Comments
Income from Social Security should not be counted in the calculations of this exemption. IF it has to be then only count that which is reported as taxable income to the IRS.
How about some kind of exemption for retired military?
