Virginia ITSP Association, tracking this bill in Photosynthesis, notes:

Kathleen Daley writes:

Please stop this ridiculous proposal. The cost of new transmission lines must be paid for by all ratepayers, so why make it any more expensive than necessary. This is nothing more than special treatment for the people of Loudoun County. We in the rest of the state do not wish to pay more on our electric bill to spare the people of Loudoun the view of transmission lines in their neighborhood. There are enough reasons why our electric bills will be increasing in the coming years. Please do not add to our costs with this unnecessary pilot program.
