Summary
Retail sales and use tax; exemption for certain computer equipment. Creates an exemption from the retail sales and use tax for computer equipment used in data centers in Mecklenburg County that meet certain investment and job creation criteria. The exemption would allow the sales and use tax to be refunded to an eligible entity after the criteria set forth in the exemption are met.
