Summary

Campaign finance disclosure reports; filing schedule for May elections.  Provides for the filing by May election candidates of an additional campaign finance report on April 15, complete for activity through March 31 of the election year. Current law requires a report to be filed on the eighth day before the May election to cover activity from the beginning of the election year or from a date in March for a candidate who participated in the March primary. These requirements apply to May elections in cities and towns with a population of 25,000 or more (Blacksburg and Leesburg).
