Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 17 of Chapter 10 of Title 46.2 a section numbered 46.2-1138.3 as follows:

§ 46.2-1138.3. Enforcement of provisions of article by certain Department employees.

The provisions of this article may be enforced by full-time sworn members of the enforcement division of the Department appointed by the Commissioner as provided in § 46.2-217.
