Description

Correctional facilities; enforcement of federal civil immigration laws. Requires the officer in charge of a correctional facility to ensure that at least one officer on duty at the facility is authorized to enforce federal civil immigration laws, pursuant to a memorandum of understanding with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Such an agreement is often referred to as a "287(g)" agreement. Read the Bill »
