I absoultely do not support this bill. The only way for this to work will be ONLY if HB 508 passes with it. Way too many decisions being made without the citizens having a say. Annexation will effect all citizens both city and county. They have to live with the end result. It is absurd to undertake anything of this magnitude without the citizens being allowed to vote. No 509 without 508!!
I live in Henry County and I assure you this is a real issue of contention here. I doubt you will find one citizen here that will support this.
