Summary
Concealed handgun permits; renewal and replacement permits. States that when a person with a valid Virginia concealed handgun permit applies to renew the permit, the new five-year permit shall become effective upon the expiration of the existing permit, so long as the existing permit will expire within 90 days of the issuance of the new permit. The bill also allows a person with a concealed handgun permit who moves from one residence to another in Virginia to receive, for a fee not to exceed $10, a replacement permit indicating the new address.
