HB533: Traffic infraction; driving with an animal impeding control prohibited.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-811.1 as follows:
§ 46.2-811.1. Driving with animal impeding control prohibited.
No person shall operate any motor vehicle on the highways of the Commonwealth with an animal on his lap nor shall he permit an animal to impede his free access to and use of vehicle controls or to obstruct his vision.
