Summary
Insurance agents; notice of appointment. Requires the
insurer, rather than the State Corporation Commission, to notify an appointed
agent of the status of his appointment. The notice shall be given within five
business days of the insurer's receipt of notice from the Commission that the
appointment of the agent is valid or invalid. An agent is prohibited from
selling or soliciting insurance after receiving notice of an invalid
appointment.
