Summary

Department of Law; establishment of Division of Human Rights; elimination of the Human Rights Council; penalties. Eliminates the Human Rights Council and establishes the Division of Human Rights within the Department of Law to carry out the powers and duties of the Human Rights Council. The bill contains technical amendments. The bill provides that any monetary savings realized from the implementation of the bill shall be applied to the Transportation Trust Fund.
