A BILL to amend and reenact § 3-5, as amended, of Chapter 52 of the Acts of Assembly of 1968, which provided a charter for the Town of Purcellville, relating to residency requirements.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 3-5, as amended, of Chapter 52 of the Acts of Assembly of 1968 is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 3-5.  Residency requirements.

The town manager and chief of police will be required to live within the corporate limits of or within fifteen miles of the corporate limits of the Town of Purcellville within ninety days after their appointment to office and during their the term of employment.
