If a person wants to designate his brother or his sister as the beneficiary of his life insurance policy, why should the government prevent him from doing so?
The current law is another example of the government interfering in private, contractual relationships in which the only appropriately interested parties are the employer and employee -- not the government.
This bill deserves to be passed and signed into law by the governor.
