Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Virginia Real Estate Board shall extend the time allowed to comply with the education requirements of § 54.1-2105.01 of the Code of Virginia and the continuing education requirements of § 54.1-2105.03 of the Code of Virginia until six months after the licensee’s release from active military duty, if (i) the licensee is on active military duty at the time that the requirements become due, and (ii) providing the extension does not constitute a danger to the public health, safety, or welfare.
