SB475: License plates, special; issuance of those bearing symbols, etc. of business entities.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Special license plates bearing the symbols, emblems, or logotypes of business entities.
On receipt of an application and following the provisions of § 46.2-725 of the Code of Virginia, the Commissioner of the Department of Motor Vehicles shall issue to the applicant special license plates bearing the symbols, emblems, or logotypes of business entities. No license plate shall bear the symbol, emblem, or logotype of more than one business entity. No license plates shall be developed and issued bearing the symbol, emblem, or logotype of any business entity until the Commissioner receives 350 or more prepaid applications therefor and a design for each new series.
