Summary
Virginia Educational Facilities Bond Act. Authorizes
the issuance of 9(b) bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $1,525,492,000
for certain educational facilities, subject to approval by the voters voting at
the November 4, 2008, general election. The bill also authorizes the issuance
of bonds under the Virginia Public Building Authority in a principal amount not
to exceed $493,420,000, and under the Virginia College Building Authority with
the principal amount of bonds issued for all such projects not to exceed
$187,928,000.
