Description

Conflicts of interests; "revolving door" prohibitions. Expands the period during which a former legislator or certain former state and local government officers and employees may not lobby from one to two years. The bill also expands coverage for former General Assembly members to include state executive branch and local government agencies as well as legislative branch agencies and for former state and local government officers and employees to include state executive and legislative branch agencies and local government agencies. These prohibitions apply only to persons who engage in activities that require registration as a lobbyist. Read the Bill »
