Description

Economic development authority of the City of Suffolk.  Allows the city to increase the size of the authority's board of directors from seven to eight to allow for one at-large member in addition to one member from each of the seven boroughs of the city. This bill is identical to SB 1001. Amends § 15.2-4904 (“Directors; qualifications; terms; vacancies; compensation and expenses; quorum; records; certification and distribution of report concerning bond issuance.”), of the Code of Virginia.
