Description
Department of Veterans Services; Commissioner; benefit claims assistance. Requires the Commissioner of the Department of Veterans Services to ensure that benefit claims assistance is provided on a regular basis at locations other than established service offices. Current law specifies that the personnel assigned by the Commissioner to process benefit claims at locations other than the service office at least one day per week. Keams Sees Success in Legislative Session

First-term Delegate Mark Keam, D-Vienna, said he is pleased with the results of the General Assembly’s recently concluded 2011 session. Of the 17 bills for which Keam was the chief patron or co-chief patron, six passed (and a seventh was folded into another bill that also passed).
