Description

Electricity generated from municipal solid waste and net metering. Clarifies that facilities used to produce electric energy from municipal solid waste meet the definition of qualified project for purposes of the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002. The bill also raises the generating capacity limit for nonresidential customer-generators from 500 kilowatts to five megawatts to qualify for the net energy metering program.
