Description
Zoning ordinance enforcement; tenants of single-family dwellings. Provides that localities may enforce violations of the zoning ordinance by tenants of single-family residential dwellings; however, the owner of such dwelling shall not be charged with a zoning violation unless the landlord knew or had reason to know of the tenant's conduct. Amends § 15.2-2286 (“Permitted provisions in zoning ordinances; amendments; applicant to pay delinquent taxes; penalties.”), of the Code of Virginia. View Full Text »
