If I understand this bill correctly, the fee increase is to offset the rising cost of making the special (vanity) plates. What about people like myself who have had a personalized plate for 15 years ?? I pay the extra ten dollars a year for the privilege of having it, and do not think it is fair to ask me to pay more. Perhaps a one time fee of twenty dollars for the first plate and ten dollars thereafter would be a fair compromise. I think in the long run less people will maintain their special plates rather than pay more to keep them.... the plan to bring in more money may very well backfire. Please reconsider this bill... thank you, Katy Walden
