Description

Brownfields; public notice of voluntary remediation plans. Requires the Department of Environmental Quality to provide written notice of an application for a voluntary remediation plan to any person who owns a property that abuts or lies within 100 feet of the boundary lines of the subject property or who owns a property that is identified as contaminated by a release on the subject property. Notice must also be published in a newspaper of general circulation. A public comment period of at least 30 days shall follow the issuance of notice. Read the Bill »
