Description

Special license plates; supporters of the Virginia Kids Eat Free program. Authorizes the issuance of revenue-sharing special license plates to supporters of the Virginia Kids Eat Free program. The annual surcharge for these plates would be $25, instead of the standard $10 for most other nonrevenue-sharing special license plates. For each set of plates issued (after the first 1,000 sets), $15 will go to Virginia Kids Eat Free, Inc., to support its operation and programs in Virginia. View Full Text »

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support that has been shown to Virginia Kids Eat Free. I am thankful that there is a way that every Virginian, that registers a car, has the opportunity to become a part of the solution. For a nominal fee there is a way to help end childhood hunger in the state of Virginia. The Virginia Kids Eat Free Fund that will hold $15 per plate after there are 1000 plates purchased will help us financially. The advertisement on cars across the state will help other organizations find out about us that need our services. I want to end by sending a special thank you to Senator Lucas and Gayle for keeping me encouraged and helping me every step of the way. To ALL Virginia Kids Eat Free supporters I definitely feel your prayers and appreciate your support. TOGETHER we will end childhood hunger in the #1 state in the country. Virginia will continue to be the example of how to get things done.
