Description
Institutions of higher education; employment of campus police. Allows any public institution of higher education to direct that its campus police officers and any auxiliary forces not be governed by the Virginia Personnel Act. Also makes a technical amendment, correcting an outdated Code citation. Amends § 2.2-2905 (“Certain officers and employees exempt from chapter.”), § 23-232 (“Establishment authorized; employment of officers.”), of the Code of Virginia. View Full Text »
