Description

Constitutional amendment (first resolution); property tax assessments. Authorizes localities to cap the annual increase in assessed values of real estate at no more than 25 percent or a greater percentage set by the ordinance. The real estate will be reassessed at fair market value in the year in which it is sold, improved, or otherwise changes hands. View Full Text »
