Description

Elections; emergency procedures.  Requires a local electoral board to convene a public meeting with at least seven days notice if an emergency makes a polling place unusable or inaccessible. After receiving any public comment, the electoral board shall propose an alternative polling place, subject to the prior approval of the State Board. The State Board shall review the proposal by the local electoral board and determine whether the stated emergency necessitates the change in polling place. Read the Bill »
