Description

Speeding in highway work zones; penalty.  Increases from $500 to $1,000 the penalty for speeding in a highway work zone. Further provides that any violation resulting in the injury of a construction worker is punishable by imprisonment of up to one year and any violation resulting in the death of a construction worker is punishable by imprisonment of up to 15 years.
