Waiver of certain graduation requirements; pursuant to Board of Education criteria. Requires the Board of Education to provide for the waiver of certain graduation requirements to be granted only for good cause and subject to reasonable procedures and criteria to be established. View Full Text »

This will balance nicely with the change/drop in funding to so many localities. Now local schools (for "good cause" i.e. no funding) will be able to graduate students with no languages or fine arts requirements in order to save the costs of those classes.
