Description

Business, professional and occupational license (BPOL) tax; verification of state licensure.  Requires the commissioner of the revenue in each locality that imposes the BPOL tax to verify through the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation that every taxpayer seeking a local business license has satisfied the requirements and obtained the state license, when applicable.  The commissioner shall not issue a local business license if the applicant has not have the required state license.   View Full Text »
