WHEREAS, Lester Harold Hutchinson, Jr., is commended for his 18-year service to the Franklin County electoral board; and

WHEREAS, Lester Hutchinson faithfully and steadfastly served as an Electoral Board member from March 6, 1992, through February 2010; and

WHEREAS, during his tenure, Lester Hutchinson spent countless hours going from poll to poll during elections to help with problems, from no power to machines that did not work properly; and

WHEREAS, known for his positive outlook, Lester Hutchinson displayed great professionalism in all his dealings with others, from fellow board members to the public; and

WHEREAS, Lester Hutchinson has demonstrated great patriotism by upholding the ideals of integrity and honesty in the electoral process; and

WHEREAS, Lester Hutchinson?s dedication to public service is greatly appreciated by the citizens of Franklin County and the Commonwealth of Virginia; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly commend a dedicated and effective public servant, Lester Harold Hutchinson, Jr.; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Lester Harold Hutchinson, Jr., as an expression of the General Assembly?s admiration and gratitude for his service to the citizens of Franklin County.
