Comments
Mr. Robertson's comments on the horrific acts of 9-11, as well as the earthquake in Haiti, reflect his ignorance and bigotry. It was interesting to notice that his comments that embarrassed and horrified most Americans were not mentioned in this commendation. There are many of us who think and remember and would choose not to commend such hypocrisy as shown by Pat Robertson. This action was not worthy of any legislator in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and it is a major embarrassment to the thinking citizens of Virginia and the United States of America. Mr. Robertson should not be commended just because he is aging or because this would seem like such a nice gift. This resolution was inappropriate in all aspects.
Well said Jane. It drives me nuts that my representative, John Cox, voted for this.
Let me reclarify, John Cox co-sponsored this inappropriate legislation, which is even worse.
