Board for Contractors; certification of accessibility mechanics. Provides for the certification of accessibility mechanicsby the Board for Contractors. An %93accessibility mechanic%94 is an individual who erects, constructs, installs, alters, services, repairs, tests, or maintains wheelchair lifts, incline chairlifts, certain dumb waiters, and private residence elevators, in accordance with the Uniform Statewide Building Code.
