Description

Virginia Public Procurement Act; exemptions; dogs trained for policy work.  Exempts from the Virginia Public Procurement Act the sale of any dog especially trained for police work to the handler who was last in control of such dog. The bill also provides that the sale is not to be deemed a violation of the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act. Amends § 15.2-980 (“Civil penalties for violations of noise ordinances.”), of the Code of Virginia. View Full Text »
