Description
Virginia Information Technologies Agency; electronic government services. Provides for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency to assist public bodies of the Commonwealth to determine the rules and standards applicable to the acceptance and distribution of electronic records and electronic signatures. Amends § 2.2-2010 (“Additional powers of VITA.”), § 59.1-496 (“Acceptance and distribution of electronic records by public bodies; electronic filing of information permitted.”), of the Code of Virginia.
