Description

Regulation of bail bondsmen.  Prohibits a bail bondsman from charging less than 10 percent or more than 15 percent the amount of the bond for a bail bond premium. The bill also prohibits the financing of a bail bond premium without a written agreement and prohibits surrender of the person who is subject to the bail bond solely for failure to perform obligations pursuant to that agreement.
