Description
Regulation of bail bondsmen. Prohibits a bail bondsman from charging less than 10 percent or more than 15 percent the amount of the bond for a bail bond premium. The bill also prohibits the financing of a bail bond premium without a written agreement and prohibits surrender of the person who is subject to the bail bond solely for failure to perform obligations pursuant to that agreement. this bill will stop the under handed tactics that have caused our business, to look like the people we bail out.
It's to bad the entire original bill as it was written got edited down to it's current status
