Description

Causing the death of another while engaging in a vehicle race; penalty.  Raises the penalty for causing the death of another person while engaging in a vehicle race to a mandatory minimum 20 years. The current penalty is a term of confinement of not less than one nor more than 20 years, one year of which is a mandatory minimum term of confinement. The racing must be done in a manner so gross, wanton and culpable as to show a reckless disregard for human life. Read the Bill »
