Description
Virginia Public Procurement Act; process for withdrawal of bid due to error. Clarifies theprocedure for withdrawal of a bid when the public body opens bids one day after the time fixed for the submission of bids. Under the procedure, the bidder must submit to the public body his original work papers, documents, and materials used in the preparation of the bid at or prior to the time fixed for the opening of bids. The bill provides for the public body to notify the bidder of its decision within five days of the withdrawal request. Read the Bill »
