Freedom of Information Act; proceedings for enforcement. Requires that the party against whom a FOIA petition is brought must receive a copy of the petition at least three working days prior to the filing of the petition. Comments
This bill and Anderson's HB2041 have been worked out after three years (!?) and umpteen meetings of the FOIA Council. Hopefully everyone is finally on board. The intent is to make sure that localities get some sort of notice prior to the filing of a FOIA suit.
