Anyone in any Position retired and drawing from the VRS - should have their retirement stopped and they should be re-contributing to the VRS. Legislation should support the creation of jobs for younger persons - this legislation should not pass and it should stand to enforce that retirees stay retired and not take jobs from people not old enough to retire or be penalized... the IRS is going to Penalize them for work working, drawing VRS and Social Security so this proposal is mutt and just another addition to Virginia Code... keep the Code Simple! Support Employement - when they get penalized by the IRS then they are going to come back and ask for more legislation begging the State to give them their money back in State Taxes! Bleed us dry!

Instead pass a law that requires all Persion State or Local that are on the VRS to attend a class of no less than three days that explains the Financial Ramifications of retiring at that point in time in their life - class should include persons from Social Security Administration - VRS - Health Insurance - and a CPA that specializes in Taxes and retirement - before they can submit a letter or request to retire - sounds like a cop retired but misses it and found retiring was more expensive than working - should have thought first
