Description
Vehicle weight limits and overweight permits. Makes several largely technical changes in order to clarify legislation passed by the 2012 Session dealing with vehicle weight limits and overweight permits. Specifically, the bill increases from 400 pounds to 500 pounds the amount of additional weight allowed motor vehicles that utilize an auxiliary power unit or other idle reduction technology in order to promote reduction of fuel use and emissions due to engine idling and increases allowable weights for certain vehicles hauling Virginia-grown farm products.
