Description
Economic development; Virginia Economic Development Partnership Authority; required provisions in economic development agreements. Requires the Virginia Economic Development Partnership Authority and any locality to include in an economic development agreement a provision requiring the business beneficiary to give Virginia persons, firms, or corporations the opportunity to participate in the procurement of any goods, services, or construction that is or will be solicited by the business entity. Any such procurement shall be based on competitive principles and shall in each instance seek competition to the maximum practical degree. View Full Text »
