Description
Felony punishment for subsequent misdemeanor sex offense; penalty. Provides that when a person is convicted of a specified misdemeanor sex offense and it is alleged in the warrant that he was convicted of two or more substantially similar offenses under the laws of another state or territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the United States within the previous 10 years, he is guilty of a Class 6 felony. Currently, the prior convictions are limited to convictions under Virginia law. Read the Bill »
