MASON CONSERVATIVE: A Retraction
May 21, 2008
Never let it be said that a blogger isn't above retracting a post. Concerning my post on the 11th District Convention, I have been contacted and assured by Jim Parmalee that any statement he made concerning HB3202 vis-a-vie Jay O'Brien was not what I thought it was. Parmalee has assured me that he did not direct any comments towards O'Brien. Call it a case of misplaced anger on my part. I was stuck outside doing registration for most of the opening parts but I did catch some of Keith Fimian's speech, and it was good. Jim Gilmore arrived and made his way around talking up the crowd -- but I have to say...

"I really want to be lieutenant governor, but this is the strongest ticket. It's the best thing for the party." Whether it's the "best thing"...
