Description

Litter control and recycling grants. Changes the formula for allocating litter control and recycling grants. The bill would increase the percentage of grants awarded to localities from the current 75% to 90%. The 20% of grants allocated to statewide and regional litter prevention recycling educational programs will be reduced to 5% and will be awarded to localities and nonprofits for litter prevention and recycling. Up to 5% of the litter prevention and recycling grants will be allocated for administrative expenses. Read the Bill »
