Description

Motor carrier transportation contracts; indemnification clauses. Declares that clauses in motor carrier transportation contracts that purport to indemnify or hold harmless either party from or against liability for loss or damage resulting from the negligence or intentional acts or omissions of the other party are against public policy, void, and unenforceable. Such contracts do not include the Uniform Intermodal Interchange and Facilities Access Agreement or other agreements providing for the interchange, use or possession of intermodal chassis, containers or other intermodal equipment.
