Description

Medicaid; family planning services. Requires the state plan for medical assistance services to include a provision for payment for family planning services to individuals with a family income up to 133% of the federal poverty level. These services shall include items such as gynecological examinations, screening for breast and cervical cancer, contraceptive counseling, sexually transmitted disease testing, and referrals for pregnancy and prenatal care.
