Description

Medical Assistance; prevention of chronic conditions. Requires the Department of Medical Assistance Services to include in the state plan a provision for payment of medical assistance for prevention of chronic conditions that, if not prevented, result in long-term treatment and associated costs. "Chronic conditions" includes obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Read the Bill »
