Description

Toll facilities. Requires that any and all toll facilities controlled by the Virginia Department of Transportation be capable of fully automated electronic operation by July 1, 2008. The bill also requests the Department, by July 1, 2007, to submit a written report to the General Assembly on its plans to create opportunities to enhance mobility and free-flowing traffic on Department-controlled toll facilities by embracing technological advances.
