Description

Cruelty to animals; penalty. Makes it a Class 6 felony if any person who has been convicted of violating the animal cruelty statute is convicted within five years of the prior offense of intentionally depriving an animal of necessary food, drink, shelter, or emergency veterinary treatment, and either the previous or current violation has resulted in the death of an animal.
